Understanding His Work in Heaven
1. Jesus is in the REAL Holy of Holies
- •The earthly Holy of Holies was just a copy
- •Jesus is in the real Holy of Holies — the presence of God in heaven
2. Jesus is Our High Priest
- •Old Testament High Priests entered the holy place once a year with animal blood
- •Jesus enters directly with God by His own perfect blood
- •He doesn't need to sacrifice again — His blood is eternal and perfect
3. Jesus Advocates for Us
- •Jesus steps in for us and explains to God our weaknesses
- •He understands us because He Himself was a human
- •He lived on earth, faced temptations, knows our struggles

4. The Result
- •When we sin, Jesus intercedes for us
- •He presents His blood as payment for our sins
- •We have permanent forgiveness through His advocacy
